Open Soul method with Danilo Jovanović and Maurício Ianês

This workshop is open for anyone who is curious about gaining new skills in the field of physical theater and costume as elements of stage presence.
The Open Soul Method is based on authenticity, exposure, vulnerability, transparency and curiosity. The focus is on storytelling and performing rather than acting. At the heart of the method is the idea that the stage belongs to everyone. This method takes the personal stories, experiences and memories of the workshop participants as the starting point for creative exploration. Open Soul works with body, movement and spoken word.

Workshop is divided in two modules:
- "Movement, inner characters and storytelling through body and spoken word" with Danilo Jovanović
- "Costumes and Subjectivity in Performance" with Maurício Ianês

The workshop aims to provide workshop participants with tools to help them bring their narratives and characters to life through costumes and body language. By experimenting with clothing and avoiding stereotypes, the participants can strengthen their presence, communication, and connection with the audience and other performers.

This workshop is open to everyone interested, no prior knowlegde required.
The workshop takes place in English, but not speaking English is no barrier for participation.
