Workshop with Abid Hussain / Cultural Transformation Movement
In increasing times of uncertainty and division how can we lead with empathy and authenticity?
This workshop will explore what effective leadership looks like for artists, administrators and managers who are committed to developing a more inclusive and equitable arts and cultural sector that creates a sense of partnership and belonging with the communities they serve.
Workshop participants will have an opportunity to reflect on their leadership qualities and how they are viewed by their colleagues and peers. How do participants navigate the demands placed on them by institutions and the communities they serve whilst remaining true to their values? What are the challenges and barriers they face and how can they be overcome?
Through practical examples, case studies and group discussions participants will also develop their own personal leadership action plans to support them realise their full potential and more effectively influence arts organisations and leaders outside of their networks to advocate for greater equality and diversity.
Limited number of participants. Please register at anmeldung@brunnenpassage.at
The event takes place as part of the Creative Europe Project Cultural Transformation Movement.
